An example of one of the many classes
Beautifully decorated vases, paperweights and sculptures are waiting to be made, even by the most timid beginners. This special weekend workshop in glassblowing will be held at the Fellerman and Raabe Glassworks. Students will learn basic glassblowing techniques while working closely with the instructor. Creativity and enthusiasm are all that is needed to take home beautiful glass pieces. Glassblowing is a very physically demanding craft, working in temperatures exceeding 700 degrees. Students should be in excellent physical condition, have no restraining medical conditions and be able to lift 50 lbs.
